Mante are small Armenian dumplings formed from thin dough wrapped around a spiced ground-meat filling, arranged open-faced in a baking pan, and baked until the edges crisp. They are served with garlic-infused yogurt poured over them and a drizzle of butter and sumac or Aleppo pepper. The dish is common across the Armenian plateau and appears in both homeland and diaspora cooking.
