Azerbaijani authorities have officially denied the Jugha destruction, asserting the site contained no significant monuments. Against this denial stands documented evidence: Ayvazyan's pre-destruction photographic catalogue, Sim's peer-reviewed satellite analysis, the Scottish Parliament condemnation, and resolutions from the European Parliament and the U.S. House of Representatives.
