France's Armenian community sustains its language and culture through a network of Armenian-language Saturday schools, several full-time day schools concentrated in Paris and Marseille, three diocesan churches, and a strong vernacular Armenian-language press centered on the daily Haratch (founded 1925, the longest-running diaspora Armenian newspaper outside the Soviet Union).
