The United States is home to the second-largest Armenian diaspora — approximately 1.5 million — with just under half concentrated in greater Los Angeles, particularly Glendale, Pasadena, and Burbank. The community formed in successive waves: post-1894 Hamidian-massacre survivors, post-1915 Genocide refugees, post-Soviet 1990s emigrants, and post-2020 Karabakh-war families.
